ORBITnet eMail Error Codes & Detailed Descriptions

Below you will find NON standard errors that ORBITnet Anti Spam Solutions use, you can use the information to identify & Correct the problems in your email sending servers.

If your have any difficulty understanding of the reasons given below or how to correct them, you can always contact ORBITnet for Support.

550 - Helo command rejected: Host not found;

This mean that your sending server host name "DNS NAME" is not valid or does not have a valid DNS A for the host. Use DNS Pointer to Host, Eg. 192.168.0.1 = mail.yourdomain.com RFC2821 for more information.

504 - Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified hostname;

This mean the sending server host name is NOT valid. Use an Internet valid host name, Eg. mail.yourdomain.com with valid DNS entries. RFC2821 for more information.

554 - Helo command rejected: I'm Sorry, I don't like your name.

This mean that we have BLACK LISTED the host or hostname. Contact Us and Provide valid reasons to white list the host or hostname.

450 - Sender address rejected: unverified address:

This is a Temporary Error, this does NOT mean the email fail to deliver, this error was due to the sender email address not in over database as a Valid email, the system validate each email address to be valid or NOT, the validation take some time, during this time. the above error will be given

450 - Sender address rejected: unverified address: Address verification in progress;

This mean the system is verifying the sending email address, this is just a Temporary error and NO email will get retuned.

550 - Sender address rejected: undeliverable address:

This is a Fatal Error, this mean that over system fail to validate the email address. this maybe due to Invalid Email Address and the valid server for the domain respond at its NOT valid email. Valid email server for the domain fail to verify the email address as a valid email. Valid email server is to slow & Our server gave up after few try's. Contact Us and Prove the email to be valid.

554 - Sender address rejected: Sorry, we don.t like email form you!

This mean that we have BLACK LISTED the Domain or a specific email address. Contact Us and Provide valid reasons to white list.

550 - Recipient address rejected: undeliverable address:

This is a Fatal Error, this mean that the email address that the email was send to is NOT valid. Make sure the email address is valid.

554 - Client host rejected: Sorry, NO Dynamic IP users are Allowed to send Email.

This mean we have BLACK LISTED your IP C Class, We Found it to be Dynamically allocated IP Blocks. Contact Us and provide the IP if its happens to be Static, so we may white list the IP.

554 Sorry, Client host XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX [ HOSTNAME ] blocked using ORBITguard

This mean your Hostname or IP was blocked using RBL (Real Time Black List), Please refer to the URL about removing your IP form the BLACK list.
